Toronto Elevation at One Metre Contours
One metre contours show the elevation profile of the city in great detail. It is interesting to note the elevation profile of many of the parks around the city, the Scarborough Bluffs and some of the highway underpasses. This map primarily shows the clear dominance of the ravines as a defining feature of Toronto. The ravine network acts as a (sometimes fragmented) thread of parkland throughout some very dense urban areas.
